Delivery and Returns

Delivery Charges

Delivery is a costly item and as such Dampshop are trying to reduce this cost to our customers on an ongoing basis, the details below are a guide to charges used by Dampshop. Variations will be placed upon items on our site that are enhanced delivery service or special offer. Delivery is usually 1 to 3 day service where items are in stock (see back order section). As our product range covers some restricted items for postage/carrier service you may be offered a range of carriers to chose from with different priced options, please chose the Carrier of your choice in this instance. Each carrier has enhanced delivery options and next day, next day before 12 am and next day before 10:30 am is often an option. You should note these are NOT guaranteed but best estimate and whilst the carrier will endeavour to honour the time requested no compensation claims are except ( in some cases refund for late delivery may apply).

Our standard service details are listed below.

1. Mainland UK Deliveries Charges

Packing & Handling Under £200 + VAT:

  • Standard Delivery (1 to 3 Days) £8.50 + VAT
  • Express Delivery* £15.00 + VAT

Packing & Handling Over £200 + VAT:

  • Standard Delivery (1 to 3 Days)  FREE
  • Express Delivery* £8.50 + VAT

* Order before noon for Express Delivery (1-2 working days) for items in stock

2. Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Offshore Delivery Charges
For orders to be delivered to these areas, orders can be placed in one of the following two ways, either 1) by phoning us on +44 (0)161 626 0747 and we will take your order over the phone and we will advise you of the delivery charge  or 2) by placing your order on line and selecting the relevant delivery option, however your order will be subject to a delivery charge supplement (due to increased carriage costs) which we will advise you of separately either by phone/email, this will be in addition to/after the standard automatic order confirmation...your order will not be dispatched until this supplement has been approved.  Goods are usually received within 4 to 5 days.

3. International Delivery Charges EU & Worldwide
For orders to be delivered to Countries inside the EU, orders can be placed in one of the following two ways, either 1) by phoning us on +44 (0)161 626 0747 and we will take your order over the phone and we will advise you of the delivery charge  or 2) by placing your order on line and selecting the relevant delivery option, however your order will be subject to a delivery charge supplement (due to increased carriage costs) which we will advise you of separately either by phone/email, this will be in addition to/after the standard automatic order confirmation. Your order will not be dispatched until this supplement has been approved and paid. Goods are usually received within 3/14 days dependant on weight and carrier and requested delivery date. All warranties are subject to confirmation with order postage for any returns will be the responsibility of the purchaser. Worldwide sales outside the EU will be quoted on an individual basis SEE INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Trade Counter Collection
You are welcome to collect your order from our trade counter.  Please call us on 0161 626 0747 to confirm that the items are in stock and to agree a collection date/time we will then aim to have your order ready for you.  Our usual opening hours are: Monday - Friday  8:30 AM - 5:30 .PM.  TO PLACE ORDERS Call 0800 032630 Please note our trade counter accepts cash and credit cards only.
 
Back Orders
All items are usually in stock at our Manchester or central warehouse,  If for some reason your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed/phoned/text (dependant on your point of contact ) with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns
Items returned and received in their original condition and packaging within 7 days of delivery will be accepted for exchange or refund subject to a 15% restocking fee. You should ensure the items are adequately insured while in transit to us.
Where the goods are being returned because they are faulty or are not the goods that were ordered Dampshop may at its absolute discretion refund the cost of return.

Refunds

All credit card refunds will incur a 10% deduction where the refund is for an non  required/customer incorrect/over stock purchased item. Where you are given a option of cancelling (i.e. back orders) this will be undertaken at no cost to you our client.

Export warranty

Nuaire Flatmaster & Drimaster certify that the materials supplied are guaranteed against any manufacturing defect or malfunction for a period of 24 months, from the date of commissioning or 30 months from the Bill of lading date, whichever is the latter. This will not be effected if you the purchaser arrange transport yourself should you wish to undertake arranging delivery.
